MODERN LIVING Magazine features UMITO projects by RTA

RTA’s ongoing UMITO projects in Hokkaido and Okinawa are featured in Modern Living No. 272 Supplement, on sale December 14.
On Japan’s’ Sothern islands of Miyakojima, Ishigaki and Sesoko, in the Okinawa prefecture, RTA has designed several waterfront resorts, hotels and grand seaside villas in a tropical modern architecture that responds to views, climate and significant site features.
Bold moves include integrating natural coral rock faces into the architecture and interior design, metaphoric forms thrusting towards views, grand void spaces create unique architectural projects which resonate with their environments.
